2K has unveiled NBA 2K25, setting a release date of September 6 for the latest instalment of the acclaimed basketball simulation franchise. The game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch. For the first time, the new-gen version will also support PC alongside PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, with pre-orders now open across all platforms.
The announcement also introduces Jayson Tatum, the Boston Celtics’ recent NBA champion, as the cover star of the NBA 2K25 Standard Edition. He is joined by WNBA champion A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces. Additionally, NBA legend and Hall of Famer Vince Carter will grace the cover of the NBA 2K25 Hall of Fame Edition.
This release promises significant updates to the fan-favourite MyCareer and MyTeam modes. NBA 2K25 will launch in four editions across digital and physical formats. These include a Standard Edition, a WNBA Edition available in physical format exclusively at GameStop in the US and Canada, an All-Star Edition, and a Hall of Fame Edition, which will be available starting September 8.
