Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML -N) leader Hamza Shahbaz insisted earlier yesterday that, “While Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan lockdowns cities, we bring peace to Karachi.”
Addressing a rally this evening in Lahore’s Doongi Ground in Samanabad area on the last day of campaigning for Sunday’s NA-122 by-elections, Hamza said that ‘Naya Pakistan’ (New Pakistan) will not be made under the leadership of Aleem Khan and Jehangir Tareen, but will be made under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He went on to say that the poor people of Lahore are happy with the Metro Bus and the only person who has a problem with it is Imran Khan.
“Imran Khan will keep shouting, while Metro will keep on working.”
Hamza further said that Khan wasted two and a half years of the nation and even forced the Chinese president’s tour to be cancelled.
The PML-N leader also alleged that while the PTI chairman wanted to open offices for the Taliban in the country, the ruling PML-N is battling the enemy.
He added that Khan has run away from the competition of Ayaz Sadiq and that the ‘qabza group’ (land grabbing group) of Aleem Khan will lose while the PML-N’s ‘jazba’ (passion) will win on October 11.
