Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has plead the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to dismiss all applications that seek his disqualification over corruption charges mentioned in Panama Leaks.
In today’s hearing the former Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt submitted PM Sharif’s reply at the ECP in response to disqualification over charges anchored in Panama Papers and pleaded it to first rule on its jurisdiction.
In his petition, Nawaz Sharif held all allegations leveled against him as baseless and unfounded.
The ECP took the PM’s application regarding jurisdiction for debate and adjourned the hearing till November 2.
Meantime, election commission also directed the PM’s counsel to file reply on petition of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
Moreover, the ECP will hear Shah Nawaz Dhilon’s petition for Imran Khan’s disqualification and reference of National Assembly Speaker on November 2.
