Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House in the federal capital earlier today where the two discussed the prevailing political situation in the country.
Fazl and PM Nawaz also discussed the ongoing anti-government sit-ins by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in the federal capital and reviewed progress on talks between the government and the protesting parties.
Fazl, the chief of the main opposition party in KP Assembly had extended his support in favor of democracy for the country.
The JUI-F leader had said that his party would support PM Nawaz to complete his constitutional tenure as he was the elected representative of the nation.
