The National Security Committee meets in Islamabad today (Friday). It will review national security issues and regional situation.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will preside the meeting. Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, heads of armed forces, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Director General Intelligence Bureau (IB), Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Advisor to PM on National Security Nasir Janjua, Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid will attend the meeting.
PM Sharif returned to the federal capital Thursday to resume his official work after spending 48 days in London for his medical treatment and subsequently more than a week at his Lahore residence
