The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) rejected claims and responded to reports of data leaks by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa traders.
NADRA responded in a Tweet posted by ‘Siasat PK’ and stated NADRA has the personal and family information of the citizens safe. It is just an exaggeration that NADRA data has been leaked. While NADRA does not have information about traders, property, bank account or vehicle details, nor does NADRA set up such data.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa traders alleged that the traders’ sensitive and confidential data leaked to the terrorists.
President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Ishaq, in a press conference, reveled and said, “We get calls from terrorists who know all our sensitive information; they blackmail us and demand money,”
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa businessman Muhammad Ishaq says that terrorists call KP traders, and they have all the information, i.e., how many houses are in the trader’s name, the wife’s account, bank name, children’s accounts details, and the number of vehicles and bank balances.
