The National Database and Registration Authority has announced that all its offices in Islamabad will remain closed on Friday, December 26, due to a public holiday.
In an official notice, NADRA confirmed that regular operations will resume at 8:00 am on Saturday, December 27. Despite the temporary closure, essential services remain accessible through the Pak‑ID mobile application. NADRA helpline numbers will also continue to function without interruption.
To further facilitate citizens, NADRA has extended service hours at its Shahrah-e-Quaideen centre in Karachi. The centre now operates daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. In addition, an evening shift runs from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm, ensuring greater access for applicants who cannot visit during standard working hours.
Officials said the extended timings aim to reduce congestion and make registration services more convenient for the public. NADRA continues to prioritise ease of access by expanding digital platforms and adjusting service hours in high-demand areas.
