Former Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) MNA Sardar Nabeel Gabol has joined Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) media cell, Gabol called on former President PPP Asif Ali Zardari and announced joining the ruling Sindh party.
Gabol had served as a Federal Minister in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani for the portfolio of Ministry of Ports and Shipping before quitting the PPP over differences with the party’s leadership in 2011.
He then joined the MQM and was elected as MNA from NA-246, Karachi.
In early 2015, he resigned from his National Assembly seat as well as from MQM.
