National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued a deadline to decide the fate of the cases against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and others family member.

According to sources at the accountability bureau, the fate of the cases against 133 influential persons including the prime minister and the chief minister of Punjab will be decided by 30th September this year.

The cases will be wrapped up or references will be filed in the courts against them by September 30th deadline, sources said.

The cases will be closed if the anti-corruption watchdog will fail to collect solid evidences against the prime minister, chief minister of Punjab and others.

Sharif brothers have been accused of misuse of their powers along with corruption in the construction of Raiwind Road and illegal recruitment in Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

It is pertinent to mention that NAB had earlier fixed two deadlines to decide the fate of the corruption cases against the influential people but failed to settle the matter on those dates. (PhotoNews/ARY News)
