Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) workers and supporters came face to face and scuffled outside several polling stations of Lahore’s NA-122 constituency  mere hours after polling began for by-election on the seat on Sunday morning.

According to media reports, the first scuffle was reported from outside the polling station in Basti Syedan Shah area of Lahore, where PTI and PML-N supporters first chanted slogans against each other and then started trading punches.

The enraged supporters later threw chairs at their opponents as law enforcers tried to restore calm.

A similar scene was witnessed in Samnabad area of the city, where supporters of both opposing parties also came face to face and chanted slogans against each other.

PTI and PML-N supporters also scuffled and chanted slogans outside the polling station established at Crescent School in Shadman colony area of the city.
