Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad challenged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to face him in ann election contest in Rawalpindi’s NA-55 and NA-56 constituencies.
Addressing a rally in Rawalpindi alongside Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) chief Tahir-ul-Qadri, Sheikh Rasheed termed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif a ‘coward’ politician.
The AML chief speaking to charged-up crowd said “My sun is about to rise and yours is about to set!”
Rasheed said that he was not a coward or thief politician and said that in order to save the country, people would have to take matters into their own hands and come out on the streets.
Stating that corruption was rampant in Pakistan, Rasheed said that there were some clean leaders within the Pakistan Peoples Party, hence they should also be included for the greater good of the country.
