The Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) has declared its ‘unconditional’ support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), granting Imran Khan full authority over decisions concerning the MWM.
MWM Chairman Allama Raja Nasir Abbas emphasized the party’s unwavering allegiance to PTI, describing MWM as fundamentally aligned with Khan’s vision for the welfare of the populace.
“All decisions by Imran Khan will be unconditionally endorsed. Our party has consistently offered unwavering support to PTI from the outset,” Allama Raja Nasir Abbas stated.
He affirmed the durability of the PTI-MWM partnership, pledging allegiance “till the last drop of blood.”
MWM Vice Chairman Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi reiterated the party’s steadfast support for PTI, noting ongoing collaboration since 2014, which included discussions on seat adjustments, among other matters.
Rizvi criticized the electoral process, claiming a blatant usurpation of the people’s mandate, with PTI emerging as the rightful victor. “The PTI’s mandate was egregiously violated in broad daylight,” he asserted.
Highlighting Khan’s commitment and contributions to the nation, Rizvi praised the PTI leader’s patriotic spirit and past achievements.
According to Rizvi, government resources were employed to undermine PTI’s electoral success.
PTI spokesman Raoof Hasan announced intentions to ally with MWM in the centre and Punjab. Hasan revealed that the PTI founder had instructed the formation of alliances with MWM in these regions and endorsed collaboration with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
MWM PTI Alliance is crucial as PTI-backed candidates face challenges securing reserved seats for women and minorities without formal party affiliation.
