Multan International Airport has announced the temporary closure of runway number 18 due to scheduled repair work from February 22 to March 25. The runway will not be available for flight operations daily between 5 am and 9 am. However, provisions are in place to reopen the runway immediately for emergency landings if necessary.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has officially declared a pause on flight operations during these repair hours to ensure safety and infrastructure maintenance.
