Renowned YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, better known as Mr Beast, has expressed concerns about Cristiano Ronaldo’s rapidly growing YouTube influence.
In a candid discussion on Logan Paul’s IMPULSIVE podcast, Mr Beast mentioned his worries about Ronaldo potentially overtaking his subscriber count. With over 318 million subscribers, Mr Beast is currently the most-subscribed individual on YouTube.
Ronaldo’s swift ascent on YouTube has caught Mr Beast’s attention. Since launching his channel, UR Cristiano, in August, Ronaldo quickly set a record by reaching 10 million subscribers in record time. His channel now boasts 63.9 million subscribers, positioning him as a formidable challenger for YouTube supremacy.
Mr Beast, 26, recognized Ronaldo’s extensive online reach, stating, “I broke the world record for most subs in a month, and then Ronaldo entered the scene… If anyone could surpass me, it’s him.”
He acknowledged that Ronaldo’s broad appeal across multiple platforms might jeopardize his status as YouTube’s top creator.
Messi, the Argentine captain and a seven-time Ballon d’Or recipient, continues to be an influential figure in football. A collaboration with Mr Beast could significantly increase YouTubers’ subscriber count.
As Ronaldo extends his digital influence beyond the football field, his venture into YouTube has drawn widespread attention, adding a new layer to his illustrious career. Whether Mr Beast’s possible partnership with Messi will suffice to counter Ronaldo’s YouTube surge is yet to be determined.
