Karachi: All seven people arrested in a case lodged assaulting an election camp of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Karimabad, have been released around midnight today (Sunday).
All anti-terrorism clauses incorporated in the FIR have been withdrawn, after the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) parliamentarians vouched for them.
Earlier on Friday, police lodged an FIR against seven MQM workers for involvement in Karimabad hassle with anti-terrorism clauses invoked in the case. However, sources said all arrested people were set free on personal surety of MQM MNAs
