Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Saleem Shahzad who returned to Pakistan after self-exile has been arrested from Karachi airport on Monday morning.
SSP Malir Rao Anwar arrested Saleem Shahzad from Karachi International Airport. The immigration officials confiscated his passport at Karachi airport.
While talking to media SSP Malir said that said there are a number of other cases lodged against the MQM leader.
It should be mentioned here that Shahzad is involved mainly in a case regarding the medical treatment of terrorists.
Saleem Shahzad is wanted in a number of cases. the most important being the one where he was alleged to have facilitated the medical treatment of terrorists and arranged shelter for them. Previously, another case pertaining to passport forgery has also been registered against him.
