Karachi:A terror suspect, Amir Sarpata, who was reportedly arrested in a Rangers raid at Nine Zero, revealed during interrogation that the Muttahida Qaumi MQM was involved in an attack on schools, local media quoted sources as saying on Friday. According to the suspect, senior MQM leaders Haider Abbas Rizvi and Kunwar Naveed chaired a meeting in which they issued directives for terrorising school owners. During the meeting, orders were issued to attack a school with crackers and distribute threatening pamphlets. Amir also revealed that the real intent behind the cracker attack was to divert the operation towards outlawed and banned organisations in Karachi. He revealed that the directives to carry out the attack were issued in January this year.
