A Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) delegation arrived in Islamabad earlier today to meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The delegation headed by Dr Farooq Sattar and comprising Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Kanwar Navid and Sindh Governor Dr Isharatul Ebad will meet the prime minister. According to reports Ebad was already present in the capital.
It is the first high level contact between the governmnet and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement since the Nawaz League came into power.
