Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday has urged the Prime Minister (PM), Federal Interior Minister, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) chief to recover the minor girls from Jamia Hafsa and hand them over to their parents.

The MQM chief expressed these views in a statement.

He said that the madrassa (religious institution) principal Umm-e-Hassan and Maulana Abdul Aziz refused to let parents meet their daughters. Hussain said that the minor girls told their parents numerous times on the phone that whenever they ask the administration to let them meet their parents, the people in-charge threatens them of bad consequences if they would persist.

Hussain also said that the parents of the suppressed girls are craving to meet their daughters and are asking for help.

MQM chief has requested the electronic and print media, organisations working for human rights and associations of the civil society to raise their voices for the recovery of the minor girls and use their authority for their safe return to their homes.
