Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Rehman Malik on Saturday claimed that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has agreed in principle to join the Sindh government.
Malik while talking to media said that PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain have agreed that both the parties will be allies in the Senate.
“On the directives of Asif Zardari, I am leaving for London to meet Altaf Hussain”, Malik said.
MQM leader Babar Ghauri rejected of such agreement with the PPP and said that any such progress will be informed in this regard.
He said the MQM will take decision in the largest interest of the people of Sindh and urban population of the province.
