Severe fog has sharply reduced visibility in several parts of the country, prompting the closure of key motorway sections to ensure public safety.
A spokesperson for the Motorway Police confirmed that the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway (M-2) has been completely closed due to dense fog conditions. The decision was taken to prevent accidents caused by near-zero visibility.
