Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday shared a video confirming the successful departure of Muhammad Tufail to Saudi Arabia after authorities resolved his documentation issues.
In a post on social media platform X, Naqvi said officials had earlier offloaded Tufail from a flight because he lacked a valid driving licence. Saudi authorities require a licence to employ a driver on a driver’s visa.
“Alhamdulillah, Muhammad Tufail, who was offloaded a few weeks ago while travelling to Saudi Arabia on a driver’s visa without a driving licence, has now departed with complete and valid documents,” Naqvi wrote.

The video shows Tufail thanking the interior minister and relevant departments for their support. He said the lack of a licence had caused serious hardship and delayed his employment abroad.
“I was travelling to Saudi Arabia on a driver’s visa. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi helped me obtain a driving licence, learn driving skills, and arrange my ticket,” Tufail said. “Now I am travelling with complete documents. Thank you, Mohsin Naqvi, sahib. Long live Pakistan.”

Officials have repeatedly urged overseas job seekers to complete all legal and visa requirements before travel. They stress that proper documentation prevents offloading, delays, and employment complications abroad.
