A privilege motion has been moved in the National Assembly Secretariat seeking the suspension of Jamshed Dasti’s membership after his protest for two consecutive days. First, during the President’s address to NA on Monday and second, on the announcement of budget FY 2014- 15 on Tuesday.
Members of parties (Majority from PPP and PML- N) have signed the motion against Dasti.
However, Jamshed Dasti claimed he is being persecuted for his position against the PML-N and the PPP.
Talking to local news channels, he said, “My friend Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad had already told me about this development yesterday.” He claimed that the prime minister ‘is behind this move’.
