Bangkok, Thailand: Millions of fans worldwide are eagerly waiting to find out who will be crowned Miss Grand International 2025. They are also curious about how much prize money the new queen will take home. The winner will succeed Christine Juliane Opiaza of the Philippines. This continues one of the most glamorous traditions in the global beauty industry.
This year’s competition returns to its roots in Thailand. This nation has hosted the event many times but has yet to claim the prestigious MGI crown.
Over the past decade, Miss Grand International Public Company Limited has redefined the beauty pageant landscape. Founded in Thailand, the organisation has built one of the most dynamic and fast-growing pageant platforms in the world.
By combining entertainment, advocacy, and cultural representation, Miss Grand International (MGI) has become a global phenomenon. It celebrates beauty, personality, and social awareness on an international stage. The Miss Grand International 2025 Final Gala will take place on Saturday, October 18, at the spectacular MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
The event begins at 8:00 a.m. ET and will feature 77 contestants from countries and territories around the world. This year’s coronation marks the end of Christine Juliane Opiaza’s reign as Miss Grand International 2024.

Since 2014, the Miss Grand International Organisation has awarded each winner USD 40,000 in cash. Winners also receive a one-year contract to serve as the official spokesperson for the pageant’s global peace campaign. In 2021, Vietnamese winner Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien reportedly received USD 60,000, as confirmed by multiple Vietnamese media outlets. The prize package includes luxury travel, brand partnerships, and ambassadorial opportunities worldwide.
The evaluation process for Miss Grand International is rigorous and ongoing. Contestants are assessed from the moment they win their national title. This continues until their participation in the official MGI beauty camp leading up to the final show.
Judges evaluate each delegate based on the organisation’s signature theme, “Beauty with Readiness.” This means contestants must be more than just beautiful — they should embody intelligence, charisma, and global awareness.
Key evaluation criteria include:
- Beauty and stage presence
- Confidence and modeling skills
- Wardrobe and style
- Knowledge and eloquence
- Attitude and communication
- Unique personal identity
These qualities together define what it means to be a true Miss Grand International ambassador.
