Pop icon Miley Cyrus and musician Maxx Morando have announced their engagement. The couple took their relationship to the next level after four years of dating.
Fans first noticed the engagement when the pair attended the world premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in Los Angeles. They made a striking appearance on the red carpet as a newly engaged couple.
Miley Cyrus proudly showcased her new jewellery on the red carpet. The ring features a cushion-cut diamond set in a chunky 14-karat yellow gold band. Renowned jewellery designer Jacquie Aiche created the custom piece. Maxx Morando complemented the moment in a classic black suit and white shirt.
Cyrus had first been spotted wearing the ring in mid-November. She later shared subtle glimpses of it in an Instagram post during her recent birthday celebrations. The couple’s romance began with a blind date several years ago. Cyrus later humorously described it as “blind for me and not really for him.”

They publicly announced their relationship in November 2021 by attending a Gucci fashion show together. By the end of that year, they were sharing playful moments backstage during Cyrus’s televised New Year’s Eve special. Throughout 2022 and 2023, their partnership grew more visible. They attended major events together, including the Versace fashion show and various music award ceremonies.
Maxx Morando is not only Cyrus’s partner but also a collaborator; he has produced several of her songs. He accompanied her to the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she won Record of the Year for “Flowers.”

Despite a six-year age difference, the couple has spoken positively about how their different perspectives strengthen their bond. Cyrus has described Morando as inspiring, while his private nature has provided a grounding balance to her high-profile life.
The couple reportedly moved in together around the time of the Grammy success, solidifying their domestic partnership away from the public eye. They have since continued to attend major events together, including the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, often appearing relaxed and compatible.
