Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, who owns a weed company called Tyson 2.0, has advised NBA players on which strains of marijuana to smoke now that the NBA no longer tests players for cannabis.
During an interview with TMZ Sports on Wednesday, Tyson commented that his product was the best in the world.
Tyson spoke about his favorite strains of cannabis and gave recommendations to players based on what they wanted to achieve. He recommended OG Kush, a strain of Indica, for those who want to relax and Sour Diesel for those who want to stay alert and creative.
Earlier this month, the NBA announced that it would no longer test players for cannabis use as part of the new labor agreement. Many players in the league are known to smoke cannabis regularly, and Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant has been vocal about his support for marijuana use.
Tyson also mentioned that his product line includes edible cookies shaped like ears. The former boxer has been open about his struggles with drug addiction, but he has since turned his life around and become a prominent advocate for marijuana use.
In addition to running his cannabis business, Tyson has been spotted sitting cage side at UFC 287 on Saturday night alongside Donald Trump, Kid Rock, and Dana White.
