Mike Tyson praised Gervonta Davis highly before Gervonta Davis’s fight with Ryan Garcia.
According to Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, Gervonta Davis has all the potential and skillset to become a legend in the sport and boxing’s GOAT.
“Tank is a skilled combatant. If he keeps fighting, he can become a legend like the rest. “Speaking to TMZ, Tyson said the following about Davis.
As of right now, “he’s the best boxer around.”
However, many argue that there is no comparison between the two combatants and those who say otherwise.
Gervonta Davis is currently trying to schedule a title fight with Ryan Garcia for 2023.
Tyson has made it obvious that he prefers Gervonta in that fight, an opinion shared by Eddie Hearn earlier this week.
Hearn said on DAZN Boxing Show, “I give Ryan Garcia a chance in this fight, no question.”
“However, if I had to pick a victor, it would be Tank Davis.
“Concern for Ryan occupies my mind. Though he has won the battle with his mental health, we all know he is still vulnerable.
“Thus, in a tight fight, I always favor the person I believe to be in a stronger mental state. Now, please meet Gervonta Davis.”
