Scandals queen and disputed film actor Meera has announced that she will be running Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s election campaign from NA-246 Karachi.
In a statement issued on Sunday Meera said that she would run the election campaign of the PTI candidate Imran Ismail from the National Assembly’s constituency i.e. NA-246, and in this regard she has acquired permission from her mother.
The film star said that she will pay visit to Karachi for this purpose on April 19, 2015, and will go door to door to ask people to vote in favour of PTI’s candidate.
She also lauded the courage and commitment of Reham Khan (wife of Imran Khan) for taking an active part in political, social, and public welfare activities.
Meera said that Reham’s valour inspired her a lot and she decided to come out to fight for the rights of women because of her.
