Police on Wednesday placed as many as twenty containers on Shahra-e-Dastoor and outside the parliament lodges in Islamabad besides seeking 8000 more personnel to ensure security during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned protest on November 30.

The district administration has also said that no party would be allowed to hold a rally in the red zone without having no-objection certificate (NOC).

“If PTI wants to hold a peaceful rally in Islamabad, the government will not create any hurdle, but if it intends to create chaos, we are ready for it,” Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said.

Meanwhile, PTI leader Asad Umar said that the party does not need any permission to hold the rally.

The PTI is all set to hold a huge sit-in, which Imran Khan termed as “the mother of all protests”.
