KARACHI: Matric examinations begin from Tuesday (today) across the Sindh in which over 300,000 students are appearing in Karachi alone.
The authorities have imposed Section-144 at all exams centers in Sindh, including Karachi, for the examinations being held under the auspices of various secondary boards.
According to our correspondent, the Board of Secondary Education, Karachi has set up 413 examination centers for the students in the city. Of the total, 223 centers are for male and 190 for female students.
The board also set up a center for prisoner students at Karachi Central Jail and posted a special team to check cheating.
Meanwhile, some students, who didn’t receive their admit cards, protested outside the board office early this morning.
