Marvel Rivals Season 7 launches on March 20 with White Fox as the first new playable hero, a fresh story built around a multiverse invasion, and a wide set of gameplay changes aimed at slowing down chaos and sharpening team strategy. NetEase has confirmed the new season and its rollout timing.
White Fox joins the roster as a strategist hero. She uses fox marbles to heal allies and damage enemies, and she can transform into a fox for mobility. Black Cat is also part of the Season 7 lineup, though she is expected later in the season rather than at launch.
Marvel Rivals Season 7 puts White Fox at the centre of the update. NetEase is positioning her as a support-focused character with healing and utility tools, making her one of the headline additions for the new season.
The season also adds two new team-up abilities. One links White Fox with Luna Snow, while another pairs Storm with Adam Warlock. At the same time, older team-ups, including Jeff-Nado, are being removed as part of the broader shake-up.

Marvel Rivals Season 7
Marvel Rivals Season 7 also changes the flow of matches by slowing the ultimate charge by 20%. That adjustment is designed to reduce constant ultimate spam and make timing more important in team fights.
Several heroes are being nerfed, including Winter Soldier, Elsa Bloodstone, Daredevil, Doctor Strange and Vanguard Deadpool. Other heroes are being buffed, including Hulk, Blade, Black Panther, Duelist Deadpool, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch and Luna Snow.
Ranked mode is also changing in Marvel Rivals Season 7. Teams will now ban three heroes instead of two, giving players more control over high-level matchups and draft strategy.

A new map, Lower Manhattan, is also on the way, though reports indicate it will arrive after launch rather than on day one. Players will also get new social features, such as in-game photo options and a limited-time Deadpool and Jeff the Land Shark emote reward.
Overall, Marvel Rivals Season 7 looks designed to refresh both the hero meta and match pacing. With White Fox arriving first, Black Cat coming later, and major balance changes in place, the new season gives players a clear reason to jump back in on March 20
