Malik Riaz Hussain, a Pakistani real estate tycoon founder of Bahria Town, has publicly refuted allegations brought forward in a recent National Accountability Bureau (NAB) press release.

In his message on social media platform X, he firmly stated, “No matter the level of oppression, I will not testify against anyone. I will neither be utilized against anyone nor succumb to blackmail.”

Riaz reaffirmed his commitment by noting, “This has been my stance yesterday, today, and it will continue regardless of the oppression; Malik Riaz will not testify!” He discussed the significant challenges he faced while establishing Bahria Town, Pakistan’s first real estate project of international standards, attributing its success to his perseverance despite numerous hurdles and alleged instances of government blackmail.

This was my decision yesterday and this is my decision today, no matter how much you oppress me, Malik Riaz will not testify!

Further expanding his business footprint, Riaz has initiated BT Properties in Dubai. He attributes this move to the visionary leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the lack of obstructive regulatory bodies like NAB, which he believes promotes a more conducive business environment.

He emphasized, “For decades, there has been a desire to elevate the Pakistan brand to a world-class standard, and by Allah’s grace, I have contributed to realizing this vision.”

He aims to enhance Pakistan’s reputation on the world stage through successful international projects.
