Commuters in London and the city’s hordes of tourists are relieved after a planned three-day subway strike was called off at the last minute.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union suspended the strike Monday afternoon after progress was reported at talks with transport officials. The strike was due to start later Monday.
