The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to bouts of unprovoked firing in Sialkot’s Charwah sector on Wednesday (today), according to ISPR.
Indian troops targeted the civil population in villages along the working boundary.
Aside from firing, the BSF also resorted to shelling after which the Chenab Rangers responded effectively.
No deaths or injuries have been reported.
“We want peace with India, but we will retaliate when (ever) there is a violation,” said Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Maj General Asim Bajwa.
