Prices were firm on the cotton market yesterday as ginners were reluctant to sell quality cotton amid strong demand.
Floor brokers said that dwindling arrivals of phutti (seed cotton) and fear of shortage of quality cotton are keeping leading spinners active in the market.
On ready counter, most deals were finalised on higher rates.
The Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) spot rates were unchanged at overnight level.
