Four couples who have been best friends for over 20 years decided to solidify their lifelong friendship by investing in their very own mini-town.
They pooled their money and bought land near Llano River in Texas.
Since “tiny houses” have been all the rage lately, they decided to go down the same, affordable route.
They hired architect Matt Garcia to make their ambitious dreams come true, and he did an amazing job.
These tiny-house cabins were built for a mere $40k each.
Each 400-square-foot home boasts a cozy yet comfortable interior that can fit a queen size bed, pull-out couch for two, plenty of storage space, and a private bathroom.
Its sustainable design includes specialized insulation for all of the windows and a rainwater tank that can hold up to 5,000 gallons.
There’s also a 1,500-square-foot shared space that includes a kitchen, dining area, and guest accommodations.
They call their little town Llano Exit Strategy and plan to live next to one another for the rest of their lives.
And at night…
The friends’ houses light up together, side by side.
