Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) detained Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) local leader Faisal Shaikh in Karachi during a raid on his residence late on Friday.
According to local news channel ‘Samaa News’, LEAs officials in plain-clothes arrived at Faisal Shaikh’s Nazimabad residence and took into custody.
Shaikh brother, Sohail Shaikh while talking to news channel said “They arrived in four government vehicles and took him along without mentioning any reason,”
Reason behind the arrest or any charge against him is not known so far.
