Leaked Audio Exposes Conversations Between Chief Justice’s Mother-in-Laws

An apparent audio call leak of Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial’s mother-in-law talking to the renowned lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim’s mother-in-law has emerged from government circles.

In this audio call, the two women discussed national politics, and the conversation was private. In the audio, Khawaja Tariq Rahim’s wife says that if elections are not held soon, assume martial law will be imposed; this cannot continue; end the matter.

Chief Justice’s mother-in-law seemingly responds that they are not ready to impose the unfortunate martial law.

Interior Advisor Atta Tarar, under whom the Intelligence Bureau operates, shared the audio and commented that when he heard the audio on social media, he became convinced that the conspiracy was deep. The constitution and law have been trampled for the sake of families.

pic.twitter.com/bkc7vO1IyV

He further said that the Chief Justice and two of his associates’ families attending gatherings are eager to hold early elections to bring Imran Niazi to power. Now, do you understand the interpretation of Article 63-A?

Fawad Chaudhry responded that when the audio of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Prime Minister’s House was released, we requested the Supreme Court multiple times to see that this chain was destructive. If the office of the country’s Prime Minister is so insecure that every meeting is being recorded there, then who else will be safe? In which civilized country do agencies have this role?

— Ch Fawad Hussain (@fawadchaudhry) April 23, 2023

He further said that even after months, the Supreme Court has not taken up this request. No judge, politician, government employee, or even domestic woman is safe from this third-class mentality, and no one can do anything. Under the Fair Trial Law, the punishment for such illegal phone tapping can be up to three years in prison.
