Peshawar: Local bodies election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) is underway despite clashes between party workers and mismanagement by polling staff.
According to local news channel “Samaa tv”, workers of contesting parties clashed at various polling stations in areas of Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Swat and Nowshera districts.
It is also reported that women are barred from entering the polling stations to cast their votes.

A lady worker of PPP while talking to media alleged that “Women belonging to PTI are only being allowed to enter the polling stations,”
Polling could not be started on time at various polling stations.
Wrong voting symbols have also been printed on several ballot papers which added to the suffering and misery of the contestants.
