The accident occurred on July 5, 2025, in Russia’s Tver region when a moose crossed in front of the car that Kseniya and her husband, Ilya, were travelling in. The collision resulted in a severe open head injury for Kseniya and a head injury for Ilya. Emergency services arrived within 15 minutes and transported Kseniya from Rzhev Hospital to Moscow’s Sklifosovsky Institute. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated, and she developed meningitis and sepsis, ultimately leading to her death.

Kseniya was born in Moscow and started her modelling career at the age of 19 with Modus Vivendis. She later earned degrees in finance and psychology. At 23, she won the title of Miss Russia and went on to represent her country at Miss Universe 2017. On March 22, 2025, she married Ilya.
