The collision resulted in a severe open head injury for Kseniya and a head injury for Ilya. Emergency services arrived within 15 minutes and transported Kseniya from Rzhev Hospital to Moscow’s Sklifosovsky Institute. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated, and she developed meningitis and sepsis, ultimately leading to her death.

At 23, she won the title of Miss Russia and went on to represent her country at Miss Universe 2017. On March 22, 2025, she married Ilya. Her life exemplified a blend of beauty, intellect, and ambition.

The tribute video and statement from the Miss Universe Organisation, which said, “May her memory inspire kindness, strength, and love,” highlighted her global impact.
