Veteran executive Kristin Dolan has assumed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AMC Networks, a global entertainment leader. Known for acclaimed shows like “Mad Men” and “The Walking Dead,” AMC Networks embraces Dolan’s extensive industry experience.
Previously, Dolan was the CEO of 605, an audience measurement firm she founded in 2016. Her leadership covered various business aspects, from client relations to product development. Dolan’s expertise in audience analytics has established her as an industry authority.
At Cablevision Systems Corporation, Dolan’s 16-year journey culminated in her role as Chief Operating Officer. She managed a 10,000-strong workforce and was instrumental in Cablevision’s $17.7 billion sale to Altice USA in 2016.
Returning to Roots
Dolan’s return to AMC Networks, where she started her career in 1989, marks a significant homecoming. Her earlier tenure at the company, then Rainbow Media, included pivotal roles in marketing and distribution.
Dolan’s influence extends to Sphere Entertainment and The Wendy’s Company board positions. Her industry contributions have garnered her the NCTA Vanguard Award and recognition as a Cable TV Pioneer and Multichannel News Wonder Woman.
