The train service will be used by more than 50,000 people daily, he said.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the present government has also started work on the Chashma Lift Kanal which will be completed at a total cost of Rs 120 Billion and will irrigate 2.75 lac acres of land.

The provincial government will provide 30 percent of the total expenditure on Chisha Lift Kanal.

The project has been overdue for the past 25 years because of indifferent attitudes of previous governments, Chief Minister added. He said that the Hazara Expressway will be completed soon and by connecting it with the CPEC route, Hazara division will witness remarkable development.

He said that KPK government convinced the federal government for shifting the route of CPEC project towards the western route, construction of expressway and railway track from Peshawar to DI Khan and a train service from Peshawar to Islamabad.
