The claims, spread by far-right YouTube channel HoverLab Inc., ignited controversy this week. Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, labeled the Kim Soo-hyun rumors “false and baseless” on March 10, 2025.
HoverLab’s video alleged a secret relationship began when Sae-ron was 15 and Soo-hyun was 27. It cited supposed family testimony and a photo of Soo-hyun kissing Sae-ron’s cheek. Gold Medalist swiftly denied this, promising strong legal action against the channel for defamation and disrespecting Sae-ron’s memory.
