Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur has announced the launch of an innovative education card program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to enhance educational access and opportunities within the province.
The initiative directs the Education and Finance Departments to begin implementation, with initial rollouts starting from Upper Chitral, a district noted for its developmental needs.
The education card project is set to pilot in Upper Chitral to ensure optimal outcomes before it is extended to other areas. Chief Minister Gandapur emphasized that this approach allows for fine-tuning the program to guarantee its effectiveness across diverse districts.
Describing the initiative as a flagship project of his administration, Gandapur expressed his commitment to significantly investing in the region’s youth. “This will be the largest investment our government will make in the future of our youth,” he stated, highlighting the project’s potential to transform educational attainment and uplift underprivileged sections of society.
The strategic deployment of education cards is expected to facilitate greater educational inclusion and is part of broader efforts to improve educational infrastructure and accessibility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
