The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government has announced affordable housing solutions for its government employees.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Foundation and the Housing Department have launched the housing scheme to make homeownership more accessible to government staff.

Registration for the housing scheme is available through the “Dastak” app, a streamlined platform that simplifies the application process. Interested government employees can download the app from the Google Play and Apple App Store and complete their registration by March 25th.

Government departments throughout the province have been directed to display notices about the housing scheme to ensure maximum participation. This is part of a broader effort to promote awareness and encourage involvement among all eligible employees.

The “Dastak” app provides users with all necessary application forms and detailed information about the scheme. Additionally, more information and direct links to the online application form are available on the Housing Department and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) websites.

A spokesperson for the Housing Department commented on the initiative, stating, “This scheme reflects our commitment to improving the welfare of our government employees. By leveraging the ‘Dastak’ app for the registration process, we are facilitating an easier and more accessible way for employees to engage with this beneficial opportunity.”

The provincial government actively encourages all eligible employees to register within the specified timeframe to take advantage of this scheme.

The housing initiative aligns with a broader trend across Pakistan, where other regions are also implementing similar programs to enhance the welfare of government employees through supportive housing policies.
