ISLAMABAD: Following last night clashes between workers of PTI and MQM in Karachi, PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday threatened to press charges against Altaf Hussain in London if any harm was done to any of his party workers during the upcoming by-polls of NA-246 Karachi.
“PTI has got a team of lawyers ready in London to press charges against Altaf if any PTI member is harmed during NA 246 election campaign,” Khan tweeted on the micro-blogging site.
He also said that the people of Karachi are accustomed to the tactics of Altaf Hussain and MQM, adding the MQM first terrorizes citizens and then play the victim card.
“I cannot forget what I was told by a murdered MQM leader’s family in 2007. Those who murdered him were mourning at his funeral,” Khan said.
Earlier, MQM workers ransacked the election camp of PTI in Karimabad last night after which police booked a case against several arrested party workers.
