Held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the swearing-in ceremony symbolized the commencement of their responsibilities during this vital interim period. Key Appointments and Their Significance
Among the fresh inductees, Jalil Abbas Jilani was appointed as the Foreign Minister, a choice reflecting his extensive diplomatic background. Internal security and law enforcement will be under the purview of Sarfraz Bugti, the newly sworn-in Interior Minister. Noted for his financial prowess, Shamshad Akhtar takes over as Finance Minister. With the nation’s security as his mandate, Lt-Gen (retd) Syed Anwar Ali Haider was designated Defense Minister.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry went to Murtaza Solangi, while the Human Rights Ministry’s charge was given to Khalil George, emphasizing the administration’s pledge to citizens’ rights.
