Kartik Aaryan has joined the Hera Pheri franchise.
In a recent interview with Times of India, Suneil Shetty said that Paresh Rawal confirmed Kartik’s participation in the third episode via a tweet in response to a fan’s inquiry about whether he will appear in the film.
Shetty said, “Kartik Aaryan is an excellent choice, but he is not portraying the role of Raju. However, Kartik is a new character who would add incredible enthusiasm to the position he would play.” He said
Akshay Kumar, who was believed to the part of the sequel, said he would not participate in the project due to “difference of creative issues.”
He subsequently addressed the matter of Akshay’s absence from the film by stating, “Nobody can replace Raju. So now it is up to Raju and Firoz Bhai to resolve the ‘Hera Pheri’ situation.
The series’ first film was directed by Priyadarshan and released in 2000. 2006 saw the release of Phir Hera Pheri, directed by Neeraj Vora (late).
Shetty said, “I believe a successful film is one whose characters are remembered, such as Raju, Shyam, and Babu bhaiya.” “Hera Pheri’s” simplicity has resonated with the public. I was unaware that the picture would attain such cult status. However, I knew it would be well received.
He also stated, “Clean comedy will always work like magic and be adored by children and adults alike.” So you would not feel compelled to fast-forward through it.
