A terrorist was killed in a shootout with C.I.D police in Manghopir area of Karachi late Tuesday night.
Police sources say that the dead terrorist was involved in 2007 Karsaz blast which killed at least 200 people, mostly Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers.
At least 200 people were killed and several injured in two bomb explosions in the home coming rally of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto, when the rally was passing from Karsaz Road on October 18, 2007.
Police have arrested three suspects during a search operation in Godhra. Hand grenades and firearms were recovered from their custody. The suspects were said to be involved in attacks, target killing on police.
Moreover, seven more suspects were arrested after a search operation from Karachi Industrial area.
