The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) warned on March 7, 2025, that Karachi will swelter under hot, dry conditions until March 12.

Friday’s high hit 37.5°C—4.9°C above March’s norm, with the Karachi Weather Forecast predicting a peak of 38°C over Saturday and Sunday. Relief’s on the horizon, but the heat’s holding tight for now.

The PMD said temperatures are set to climb, with 38°C looming this weekend. Earlier, analyst Jawad Memon had pegged Ramadan for cooler coastal Sindh and Balochistan vibes missed in Karachi. Nighttime offers a breather, dropping 2-3°C in the next few days to 13-16°C.

Central Sindh could chill to 10-12°C, while Karachi suburbs like Surjani Town and Scheme 33 may match that, and denser spots like Gulshan-e-Iqbal hover at 12-15°C.

Memon declared winter done for Karachi and coastal Sindh-Balochistan, locking in a steady 17-20°C range ahead. Today’s 37.5°C spike way off March’s usual underscores the shift.

The Karachi Weather Forecast hints at respite post-March 12. Will cooler nights save the day? The Forecast shows 37.5°C now and 38°C soon, keeping the port city sweating.
